



OUR STORY
It all kicked off in a quiet street in Manurewa, where our founder was flipping burgers out of a run-down fish and chip shop - and turning it into the talk of the town. They renamed the shop Smokys' Manurewa. Word spread fast, especially on social media, and soon people were cruising in from every corner of Auckland just to get a taste.
After parting ways with his original business partner, our founder set out to build something truly his own. That's how Jax Burger Shack was born in 2020. These days, he's running Jax alongside his wife, keeping it a true family business, with our motto front and centre: "Burgers from our family to yours." And trust us - expansion is definitely on the horizon.
We're obsessed with quality, no shortcuts taken. We've got beautiful buns baked fresh for us on the regular, juicy tender patties made instore, and our own house-made aioli that takes every bite to the next level. Even our sides are cooked in rich beef tallow for that extra punch of flavour.
